This timed history quiz gives you one minute to answer as many questions as you can about empires, wars, inventions, explorers and the turning points that shaped the world and the United States. The questions get harder the longer you last. When time's up, you'll see your score, your best combo and a quick explanation for every question you missed.
Under time pressure, dates are hard but sequences are easier. If you know roughly what came before and after, you can often eliminate answers that are in the wrong century. The pool mixes American and world history, so expect to jump around.
You have 60 seconds. Tap an answer and the next question appears straight away. Wrong answers cost nothing but time, three or more right in a row builds a combo, and the questions get harder the longer you last. When the clock hits zero you will see every question you missed, with the answer explained.
