Ladder to a Million is a free millionaire-style trivia game. Answer 15 multiple-choice questions in a row, from easy warm-ups at the bottom to fiendish brain-busters at the top, and climb from 100 points to 1,000,000. The questions are different every time you play.
Each question has four answers and one is right. Tap an answer, then tap Final answer to lock it in. Get it right and you climb a rung. Get it wrong and the game ends.
Two rungs are safe points. Once you pass question 5 you can never leave with less than 1,000 points, and once you pass question 10 you are guaranteed 32,000. Before any question you can walk away and keep everything you have won so far, so the big decision near the top is whether to risk it.
50:50 removes two wrong answers. Swap replaces the question with a different one of the same difficulty. Ask the crowd shows how other QuizPlays players answered the same question, using real answers from people who have played before you. Each lifeline works once per game, so save them for the top of the ladder if you can.
Every question on the ladder has been rated for difficulty. The first few are facts almost everyone knows, the middle rungs need a solid range of general knowledge, and the last three are the kind of questions that stump pub quiz champions. Questions come from geography, science, history, sports, movies, music, food and more, and every answer is fact-checked and explained after the game.
